Busy shift at Hilton "like every day"

My name is Lucas Silva I am from Italy. My passion is to cook since I was a child. I used to cook with my grandmother just because I was a curious kid but then when I grew up a bit I started to study at hospitality high school in Italy to become a professional chef.

 

After 5 long years in chefs school I travelled for work in cities like Barcelona, Berlin, Nice and now I am in London. I obtained a lot of experience abroad but I can't forget that all the best experiences and skills I gained comes from Italy and from my grandmother's recipes. 

That's why now I decided to open my own business because no one in the world is able to make my plates and my food like I do.

 

I am not a big fan of the fine dining because it is for rich customers but it is poor inside and at the end people doesn't know about the product. I prefer the kitchen like Mama's or like Grandma's because that kitchen is made with poor ingredients but high quality is made with taste, big portions and the most important thing it is that is made with love and passion.

 

With those feelings you can also be a chef.
